Beach Packing List

It can be hectic when packing up everyone's suitcase. Especially the little ones, because if one thing is missing it could be a catastrophe. We came up with a few items that can make your trip much more fun!

In the Driveway

• Pillow
• Blanket
• Favorite Stuffed Animal
• Flip Flops -- so they can be slipped on for a potty break and slipped off for a nap in the back with minimal stinky-ness! We have many brands, styles, and colors here in store and online at Wagner's Shoes for Kids! 

In the Car

• Snacks -- these are imperative for those who could always eat. Healthy options that won't perish in the car are hard to find. Stick these snacks in some plastic baggies and you'll be good to go!
• Trail Mix
• Beef Jerky
• Mixed Nuts
• Dried Fruit
• Yogurt Covered Raisins
• Pretzels
• Water Bottles
• Entertainment -- "are we there yet?!" can be irritating after a while, so finding ways to distract those in the back seat is imperative
• DVDs
• Headphones 
• Sing-a-long CDs or Pandora station
• Melissa & Doug Travel Games -- we have some in store at Wagner's Shoes for Kids!
• Bring dry erase markers so they can play tick tack toe or hangman on the windows! Be careful though, some brands can stain.

On the Beach

• Plastic Beach Mat -- these are durable, easy to transport, and waterproof! Sand can easily be shaken off, too!
• Be sure to grab sand castle toys at a dollar store!
• SUNSCREEN
• Freeze your water bottles! The ice melts quickly, but it still stays cool in the sunshine.

• Fishing Poles
• Boogie Boards

• Umbrella

In the Condo

• Card games like Uno!
